From Old Street station take Exit 1 and walk up City Road for 5 or 6 minutes, passing Moorfields Eye Hospital on your left, until you reach the second set of traffic lights. Turn right into Shepherdess Walk and then right into Nile Street after the Police station. The following busses stop near by 43, 205, 214 and 394, and the Eagle pub is a well known local landmark if you need to tell a cab driver where to turn off the City Road. And if you're travelling on the Grand Union Canal you should alight at the Wenlock Basin and walk from there!
