Prints on demand, in store and online V&A Enterprises Limited purchased a MemoryPrints licence in April 2003 for their own-branded prints service, Vandaprints. Visitors to the V&A museum shop in London browse and search through specially selected images on the kiosk. Those visitors wishing to purchase prints of their favourite V&A images have a choice of 4 different sizes ranging from small 5" x 7" prints up to large 12.4" x 18" posters. Prints are produced in the shop using a Fujifilm Pictrography 4500 printer. Anybody with web access, anywhere in the world, can also visit the Vandaprints online collection and browse or search through the displayed images. Web visitors have a choice of sizes varying from small 5" x 7" prints to giant 20" x 30" posters. Orders are then directed to a fully automated print laboratory in the UK, where they are printed and dispatched within 24 hours. Visit Vandaprints at www.vandaprints.com |
